Jason always seems to be in the right place at the right time when it comes to getting bikes and parts. Everyone could be looking at a wall of parts and for some reason Jason will see things that we don't. Bikes seem to find him. Well it happened again this weekend while I was in New York, I had a feeling that it would. Jason and I exchanged a bunch of texts before I left on Friday about this bike. Here are some pics of his latest addition to the family and details in his words - "41 el knucklehead after 12 years of storage , got it from torontos beaches from a 70 year old gentelman, god wanted me to have it, got it running with damon in less than an hour". Amazing! I have yet to see this in person. Planning to drop by soon. Jason, check it out too, this is post #812 on the blog, add em up, it was meant to be.
Motors are like art for me. Jason rebuilt this 53 Panhead motor. Looks like new, it's beautiful. He has documented a lot of the steps with photos. We'll be posting some up soon.
Saw this file on my desk, I did some artwork for Jason last year. Just messing around with an idea while he was rebuilding my Ironhead motor, sometimes I forget he builds really cool rides with 4 wheels too!
The broken lever in the pic is the one that tried to remove Jason's finger a little while ago, blood still on it! Glad you made it out o.k. buddy.
Jason has all sorts of stuff kicking around the shop. Unidentifiable brass object Jason got, and some stickers I passed along to him as well.
Jason from JPRC and Mathis (paint) did this honda for Vinnie's girl. Looks great. - OPPS, please see Jason's comment, Vinnie built this one, Jason did z bars and him and Mathis did the paint. Sorry about that!
Jason just picked up a nice looking set of 48-49 Pan tanks. I had a quick look at them this morning and thought they were 45 tanks with the emblems I need. I was thinking, "damn, Jason is just too lucky".
If you are in Toronto or any where in the world, and need any bike help make sure you hit up Jason at JPRC. Quick look at the parts room, Jason sent me some recent shots. Nice and tidy.
Jason from JPRC just has the eye, the luck and the contacts at swaps around here. You might as well stay home if he's going. Check out these wicked Flanders Risers that he picked up. If you know what they are, you know people die for these.
