Well sort of . . . I don't think I posted this last weekend, Jason tossed on a tank and a seat that he made many years ago. Just temporary to get things rolling.
I was thinking about the 41 Knuckle last night. Jason mentioned he maybe switching up the bars, getting a seat and tank on and going for a ride very soon. That will be an awesome sight to see.
This is one really cool little bike! Had a chance to check it out the other night. Jason and Mario put this together, you guys can chime in with details if you like.
Jason told me the story of picking up this 1951 WL at a swap. It was converted into a motor to power a saw way back when and has been sitting around like this for 28 years or something before Jason grabbed it as is. It's on a mower so he can move it around for now. After spending a lot of time just staring at it, and it was cold out, I had to have a 45, that's how it started for me. Here's a video that Jason took quite some time ago. Hand starting the motor. This motor is going to be the heart of a very special bike once Jason gets around to it.
This is a big deal for me, heavy stuff, kicked the 1941 Knucklehead, it's easier than my Ironhead. I'm glad Jason ended up with this bike, couldn't be happier, it's almost like I got it myself . . . well not really, but you know what I mean, thanks Jason! Awesome addition.
