Mooneyes - Evil Spirit

Michael Barragan of Evil Spirit Engineering looked bad ass on his bike. He really got everyone's juices going after kicking over his bike and taking a few warm up laps before the ride in.

Hong Kong - Sai Kung

Flashback to Hong Kong during this last trip to Asia. It was difficult to travel into the hustle of Hong Kong with a small baby, so we headed out to Sai Kung often where it was more quiet and roomy for a family. Here are some night shots from one evening. Some copy about Sai Kung from wiki, - "Having evolved from a fishing village, it is a paradise for seafood lovers, locals and foreign tourists alike. Visitors can stroll along the waterfront of Sai Kung Town or explore the lanes of the old town, visit the Tin Hau Temple, feast on seafood or enjoy different delicacies at Western-style pubs and restaurants." We ate great seafood and then there was a dessert shop in the lane ways that served a cold mango/coconut dessert that looked like a hot rice noodle soup. I got a kick out of that and it hit the spot after a nice dinner with family.

Mooneyes - Todd @ Small City

The world is such a small place. Earlier this year, I was looking for parts for my project and Todd from Small City Cycles was able to help out with a tranny. Communication was done all through the web and then next thing you know, we are chatting in Japan! A very cool feeling to be able to connect with fellow enthusiasts. Thanks Todd!

Mooneyes - Shinya & Troy

I had the pleasure of meeting Shinya Kimura of Chabott Engineering and Troy from Chico Moto Blog. Here are some photos of them "backstage" before riding into the exhibition hall. What more can I say about Shinya that has not been said before? His work and vision has been an influence and inspiration to so many. Troy, thanks for the introduction and keep up the great blog!

Met alot of people at the show, everyone was great. Here are some random shots, didn't want to get into anyones face so just some side views and some of Grant in action, he wasn't shy with his camera, check out where he positioned himself for the ride in!

Mooneyes - Mochi

Mochi kicked his bike over so I could hear the motor running. This bike has gone through some very cool changes. I like where it has ended up. Mochi, good to see you again.

Mooneyes - Gak @ Hawgholic

I didn't have a chance to speak directly with Gak from Hawgholic, but did manage to snap a pic of him and then lost site of him. I'm a big fan of the bikes he puts together. Check out this Knuckle, awesome. More Hawgholic pics to come later.

Mooneyes - Standup Sushi

On the way to Yokohama, my brother and passed through the Tokyo Station and stopped at this stand up sushi bar. Yes, you stand while you order and eat. Good fun and good food.
