Might be the last ride this year

Getting really cold here in TO. Bike sitting in front of the garage, probably last ride for a bit. hon_bike_back1.jpg

Oh my, Yokohama HRCS 2009 pics are coming!

I'm seeing the first traces of photos from this years show in Japan on the blogs! It looked like it was another awesome ground breaking show. Check out this 1967 XLCH from Hide Motorcycles (photo from Chico Moto blog). I love it! These guys, Hidemo rule. Super cool bikes and always killer clean tasteful graphics. I think they got the Cole Foster pick award, congrats, well deserved. hidesprtster_mneyes09_cm.jpg

JPRC Shop withdrawal

Been riding around alone lately before the snow falls which should be any day. Kind of weird not popping by JPRC on a regular basis. I'll have to stop by to see Jason and the guys soon. jprc1_1.jpg A shot about a week before I got my bike back.

Inspiration - Mochi L7

I've been busy messing around with my bike so a little less original posts for now. I hope I got this right and this is Mochi's L7. I love how he gets it just right enjoys it for a while and does it again. Not sure what versions these are but I know he's on to something else already. mochi1.jpg mochi11.jpg

Seat springs snapped!

My seat springs snapped, I'm a small dude so I had the seat pushed up forward a little too much and the springs had a lot of angle on them. Looks like they snapped at the mounts. Got another set here, going to ease the seat back alittle so that the springs are more upright and don't take load on a weird angle. springs_bates1.jpg For fun, I set the Bates seat on it. Nice and meaty, didn't look too bad but the colors clash, so the black seat will be going back on tomorrow. springs_bates2.jpg
