I like the old lights, this little one is neat. Pioneer like the light I used on my Ironhead.

Bell Custom 500 Helmet Review

Had quite a few people ask me for my opinion on the new Bell Custom 500 helmets. So here goes, I got a silver flake Large size. I really didn't need another helmet but wanted a nice looking DOT open face. I first saw these online when it was posted by Stretch on the Nostalgia on Wheels blog some time ago. Was at the a local bike shop with a friend and they had one on display. Couldn't resist since I could try on for size, ordered a large right away. Here is a size comparison to an old Bell Super Magnum that I picked up at a swap meet last year. The Bell Custom 500 fits pretty good. I usually wear a Medium that fits really tight or a Large. Another cool tank for the JPRC collection

Jason showed me this cool Wassell with some funky fiberglass molding from the 70's, nice piece to add to the collection.

Mag era Ironhead sportster

Jason dropped this rocker on me, the old Shovel style rocker with the middle filled up used on the older Ironheads. Looks great, a nice clean look. Reminded me of the vid below from Nice MC.

Vintage air cleaner - which one?

This is what happens when you get to Jason's early and wait for him. You stare into his office window and see parts! I spotted these louvered air cleaner covers. I've only seen in a Vibes mag that I had. I like it for it's simple look. It never gets easy, so now which one should I run? I know, I'll use both, the louvered one for a more understated feel and the holely one when I just want to scream! Easy enough to swap in and out.

Where my bars came from

Got these of a guy on JJ, Zac cut them up and redid them. Not sure I'll be running them but this is how they were when I got them. Very heavy duty, might have been for a CB chop of some sort. Here are some other bars that we had on to push it around the old Oddball shop. I'm seeing more people running these again.
