The event had people coming in and out throughout the evening. It was a really good crowd, no attitude and a lot of appreciation for the photography and the bikes on display. At this point, I started to take some random photos of the show which I'll share later on, I'm not one to stick a camera in someones face but for now here are some random crowd shots to end today's posts. Thanks again to all the sponsors for making the show happen! Great to see everyone and thanks to all who approached me about the blog and the pics!
It was amazing to see the bikes displayed as art pieces along side the photos from the contributors. I've seen these bikes a million times at Jason's, the small group of us sit there an sometimes get lose in them. The anticipation was killing me, I wanted to see what others would think.
Things started to come alive when Jason and the guys showed up from JPRC with the 5 bikes for the show. Jason brought a really healthy mix of bikes to show the diversity that he's capable of. Great to see all the different styles coming from one individual. If there was more room we might have seen his Honda digger, Indian or 45. I had a chance to sneak some shots of a few bikes in front to the graffiti, I'll share some of those later on.
I got to the show early to help Lyndsey setup but since I don't have much experience with the hanging of gallery photos I decided to shoot some photos of the setup. As I mentioned the space is awesome. We were all thinking the setup would be perfect for a bike shop. Great to see a nice box of Real decks come in, they looked great on the walls. More to come . . .
Thanks again to Loser Machine for being the main sponsor of the show. The displays at The Baitshop look great, be sure to drop by and support Loser Machine and The Baitshop.
The Baitshop was the venue for last nights Soul Seekers Photoshow. It was my first time there. It's an awesome space. It set the tone and the mood for the show. These pics are calm before the storm. It got packed last night.
Lyndsey let me know that Levi's is supporting the Soul Seekers photo show. They will be having some raffles. Great to see supporters like this interested in what we are doing! This makes me remember a photo I took when I was in New York last year and saw this huge billboard with motorcycle imagery. Looking forward to the show this Saturday. Come out if you can!
