Stony from Oddball flipped me this link from CBC News, he knew I'd be interested. Wow, the powers of mother nature. Can you believe it? A bike registered from Miyagi Prefecture the worst hit part of Japan washed up in a container in BC, Canada, 5,000km away. Read the article here.

JPRC Squared

Sounds mathematical but no, a lot more straightforward than that. Jason picked up an old "squared" up chopper frame. This is going to be the basis of a new shop bike. Stay tuned.

Jason and Daymon have got the motor back in the frame now. Looks great and is going to be rock solid.

Tires for an old friend

Brought the Firestone ANS's and Kelsey Hayes rims over to Jason's place tonight. Glad to see my 45. Jason, thanks for letting me use your stuff for mockup all this time.

Finally got a chance to get to the shop and see Jason's latest, a '37 ULH. This bike is awesome.

Counting the days

Strange weather this year, had a warm spell, thought that riding would start than it got cold again. Looking forward this year.

Obsessed or just stupid

In our day and age, it's too easy to be trigger happy now and just buy things. Happened to me the other day. I've been looking for a thin racing seat for my 45 project. Probably wouldn't have gone near this in real life, but . . . what the heck, online, place a bid, opps . . . I won. No fault of the seller, came as described, ripped cover, old and beat up at a fair price considering all these factors. Add a little tape and then run it and see how long it lasts. Part of the game . . .
